Magna International Inc. (“Magna”) acquired BluWav Systems, LLC (“BluWav”) from Paperboy Ventures, LLC.  BluWav engaged in the design, development, production and supply of electric propulsion and energy management systems for hybrid electric, plug-in hybrid electric and battery electric vehicles.  The company’s products included drivelines, hub motors, liquid cooling, built in diagnostics, electric drives, electric propulsions and energy storage systems.  BluWav served military, commercial, marine, automotive and industrial markets.  The company was based in Rochester Hills, Michigan.

Magna develops, manufactures, engineers, supplies and sells automotive products worldwide.  The company is headquartered in Aurora, Canada.
