Mark has more than 20 years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, and strategy and operations consulting. He has advised on numerous mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and strategic alternative reviews. With a background in both investment banking and management consulting, Mark has experience in all phases of the M&A process (from strategy through integration) and brings an operational as well as financial perspective to investment banking transactions.
Prior to InterOcean, Mark was a senior management consultant at both large organizations, including Deloitte Consulting, and smaller, boutique firms, such as Bridge Strategy Group and The Keystone Group. In his consulting capacity he served both middle market industrial and consumer manufacturing clients. Mark’s leadership roles involved managing teams on a variety of engagements involving: (i) M&A and post-merger integration; (ii) corporate and business unit strategy development and implementation; and (iii) financial and operational performance improvement.
Prior to his consulting career, Mark spent eight years in middle market investment banking at Price Waterhouse LLP (in both Chicago, IL and London, UK), Vector Securities International, Inc. and Smith Barney, Inc.
Mark currently holds the Series 63, 79 and 82 Registrations as a representative of StillPoint Capital LLC.
